Giovanni Verardi

Giovanni Verardi was Professor of Indian Art and Archaeology at the University L’Orientale’ of Napoli. As a member of ISIAO (Italian Institute for Africa and Orient he has directed a number of Archaeological Missions in Afghanistan (Ghazni), in Nepal (Kathmandu) e in Cina (Luoyang).

Amongst his publications, Hardships and Downfall of Buddhism in India (Manohar, New Delhi, 2011) is the latest.
